8am Arrived at a job in South shields where the customer had difficulty opening her UPVC door. It was clear that the mechanism had jammed in the locked position. We used an air wedge to move the door over away from the frame and a quick tap on one of the hooks allowed the mechanism to retract and the door was opened. Further inspection showed the centre case had clear damage. We replaced the centre case on site and the door opened and locked as it should. 9:30 A quick Euro cylinder changed for a landlord in Wallsend. 4 new keys. Job done 10:30 Window lock repair in North shields. Customer couldn't lock their UPVC window due to the mechanism inside the window failing.
